Abstract
In some of the regions influence of cold surface water of different origin is overlaid on the Earth’s climatic zonation that results in landscape aridization. The revealed climatic factor should be taken into account in analyzing geographical environment and also in paleogeographical reconstructions of arid deposition of sediments and conditions for generation of respective geological formations.
