Abstract
Regularities related to the formation of man-induced reservoirs in rock mass being undermined are considered. The regularities described make it possible to predict zones of considerably different permeability within rock mass. These zones are different both by qualitative characteristics of permeability values and by occurrence of essential anisotropy of rock filtration characteristics along the main directions. Correction for features of these zones allows localizing accumulation of mine methane in undermined rock mass and improving a system of drainage measures for its production and recovery
