Abstract
Based on the analysis of the impact of underworking and the closure of the mine "Yuny Kommunar", the results of a visual examination of the academic building of the mining Lyceum, the causes of deformation of the academic building structures were established, including the effect of deformations of the Earth's surface from underworking and from the activation of the displacement process during the flooding of the mine workings, unsuccessful design solutions of the foundation part of the building and violations of building norms and rules during the construction and operation of the building.
