Abstract
In calculation of ground surface deformations in case of diagonal working face location we make smoothing (replacement) of actual face line for conventional one which is parallel to the line of dip. By so doing the calculated line from actual calculated points to conventional face line is also being changed that results in the error of calculation of ground surface deformations. To increase accuracy, we make calculation for conventional calculated points located at the same distance from conventional face line as is the distance of actual calculated points from actual face line.
