Abstract
Based on the analysis of energy balance equations of the system mine working - rock mass criterion of enclosing rock mass stability loss is obtained. This criterion for the first time shows physical-mechanical characteristics of rock mass both in elastic and in plastic state. The obtained results give the possibility to develop steadfastly structural-technological measures that provide protection and maintenance of mine workings in complicated mining-geological conditions.
